Data we process
- When you contact us by email or phone, we process your name, contact details and the content of your message to respond and, where relevant, to prepare or carry out an engagement. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps prior to entering into a contract.
- When you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in server logs needed to deliver and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
- Website analytics (Google Analytics 4) only if you accept analytics cookies — see below. Legal basis: your consent.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the site (for example which pages are viewed and how visitors arrive). Google Analytics is loaded only after you click “Accept analytics”. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>. We do not use it for advertising: advertising-related consent signals are always set to “denied”. Data may be processed by Google in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
We store your choice in your browser's local storage (hc-consent) so we do not ask again on every page. This is strictly necessary and contains no personal data.
You can change your choice at any time via (also in the footer). Rejecting removes the Google Analytics cookies set by this site.
Fonts are hosted on our own server; no data is sent to font providers.
How long we keep data
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with it and any resulting engagement, and in line with legal record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is kept in line with the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and our business (such as hosting, email and analytics providers), or where required by law.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR (and, where applicable, the EU GDPR) you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address above. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
